Woolfolk’s sentencing rescheduled to April 12

The sentencing of Prince Wilbert Woolfolk, a former Owensboro minister convicted of raping a 17-year-old girl in 1984, has been rescheduled for next month.

The sentencing was planned for Monday but was moved to April 12. This is the second time Woolfolk’s sentencing has been rescheduled.

At the time of the rape, Woolfolk, who is now 77, was pastor of Seventh Street Church of God in Christ in Owensboro.

Woolfolk was convicted in January, with the jury recommending a 20-year sentence.
